In hospital clinical trials, moving diagnostic kits between clinicians, hospitals and laboratories is delicate work: everything has to be tracked, nothing can go missing, and it all has to stay within the regulations. We built a platform that handles the entire logistics chain, from the kit request through to collection after the trial, keeping every step under control.
The flow covers verified registration of clinicians, request handling, shipment tracking and collection coordination, with a notification system that keeps everyone aligned without burying them in messages. Every stage is documented to guarantee compliance and a complete audit trail. The result: fewer manual errors, shorter timelines and a clinical trial that runs more smoothly. Because in healthcare precision is not optional.
A TypeScript, Next.js and Tailwind front end, a Fastify API backend, and an entirely serverless architecture on AWS that scales by itself. On the security side: AWS Cognito for multi-level authentication, DynamoDB for scalable storage, S3 for documents, SES for notifications, CodeBuild for CI/CD. ISO 27001 compliance with a complete audit trail, end-to-end encryption, redundant backups and advanced monitoring, plus Sonarcloud for code quality and vulnerability analysis.
